Sad news today that the influential British designer Alexander McQueen has been found dead at his home aged 40.

It is reported that McQueen, who won British Designer of the year four times, was grieving over the death of his mother who recently.

Police are not treating his death as suspicious, although reports he committed suicide have not yet been confirmed.

Fashion supremo Karen Millen has described how she was “gobsmacked” when she was told she was going to receive an OBE and described the ceremony as “amazing”.

Millen, 46, was presented with her OBE at Buckingham Palace by the Price of Wales earlier this week.

Kate Moss has regained the top spot in Glamour magazines annual list of best-dressed women.

Moss took the number one position from pop singer Kylie Minouge who fell to 19th place.

Glamour editor Jo Elvin said “Kate’s back with a vengeance. Her maverick approach to fashion is an inspiration and shows us all how to be a little more daring and experimental.”
